A first year to remember...

Posted on March 10, 2014 at 4:17 PM Comments comments (131)
Hello everyone,

It has been a year of "firsts" for us at ExcePTional Physical Therapy. First year of business. First year of growing. First business loan. But all in all, it's been a wonderful first year.

One of the first things I would say to those of you who are on the fence about taking that first step of a life changing move, be it career or personal, is ask yourself if you can imagine your life without taking that step? You might be in job that you like, but don't love. You might be working for good people, but do you have the same philosophy as they do? What would you do differently? How would you work your business to reflect the passion that you have for what you do?

These are questions we asked our self before making a business plan, and then wrote those ideas into our plan. The response was amazing, and because we had a passion for what we believed would be cutting edge treatment...it was reflected in our plan and banks took a chance on us.
Whatever you do in life, do what you love. And be a leader in your community. We are put here to help others, and we should make a difference in the lives of others.
I am reminded of a great quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson that says "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

We hope that you have a unique experience at ExcePTional Physical Therapy, tell everyone how much we love what we do here, and that our passion shines through with every patient that we touch.

Thank you for making our first year so wonderful.
Dr. Marla

Donating food for a worthy cause...

Posted on November 11, 2013 at 8:18 PM Comments comments (103)
This year is closing fast, and I can't believe that we have been open 6 months already. These last few months have been the start of an amazing journey, and it is my mission to use this business to better serve our community.

We are currently collecting non-perishable donations to be distributed to the Care Center. If you would like to drop off any items, we are going to be collecting the entire holiday season so please feel free to bring your donations by at any time.
I can not think of a more worthy cause than to help feed our neighbors who are needing a little boost during the holidays.

I hope the upcoming holiday season finds you surrounded by people you love, warm blankets, a full tummy, and a smile that extends from ear to ear.

Happy Holidays,
Dr. Marla
